Christmas Offering

Our Christmas offering this year will be divided equally between Friends International (Iain MacGowan) and IFES (Marina Gnatyshyna).

Friends International (FI) is a mission organisation that works with international students who come to the UK from many different cultures. They seek to build friendships, disciple, and provide support to Christians as they go home, potentially to face challenges to their faith, so they are ready to tell others about Christ.

Iain MacGowan works as Centre Team Leader to help make this happen by working alongside the many evangelical churches here in Dorset—developing teams, supporting volunteers with cross-cultural training, and building relationships with organisations and universities that care for international students.

IFES works in more than 180 countries world-wide to establish and support student-led indigenous Christian movements. At the heart of everything they do is a desire to see students thriving together as communities of disciples, transformed by the gospel and impacting the university, the church and society for the glory of Christ. 

Marina Gnatyshyna is Associate Director of Emerging Evangelists. She is working, with others, to disciple and train young evangelists across Europe, initially with a group of around 15-20 young people from six countries with identified potential. Marina works particularly with female participants and those in Eastern Europe.
